Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us this afternoon for our outdoor maths workshop with Juliet Robertson.
We explored lots of fun activities to engage children with maths through outdoor play.
FS2 children ventured out of the school grounds this afternoon, our mission was to find numbers in our local environment. We walked along Sheffield Road and found numbers everywhere.
Can you continue our mission and find numbers near where you live?
Thank you very much to all the parents, grandparents and carers who joined us this morning for our reading session.
We had a lovely time sharing stories together. 😀😀
We hope you have had a lovely summer.
Don’t forget to add lots of information to your scrapbooks so we can share them with you at school.
We are really looking forward to starting the new school year and have lots of exciting things planned.
See you on Tuesday.
We received a letter from Mr Banham explains that we could have an end of term celebration. We needed to make plans. We had lots of ideas including; bouncy castle, chocolate cake, balloons, pass the parcel and even a snowman!
Today in FS1 we offered children the opportunity to choose a book to take home and enjoy. We had fun choosing!
