Should boys and girls be treated equally?
I hope you have all had a fantastic summer holiday…I can’t wait to hear all about it! I am really looking forward to seeing you all back on Tuesday, we’ve got a very exciting topic coming up (which I’m keeping a secret for now!) It would be great to see what you’ve all been up to and where you have been over the holidays so please blog some photos that we can all talk about when we get back….I will start us off with my recent visit to Castle Howard last week! See you all soon…Miss Redders!
This week in class 5 we shared some of our favourite stories and books with each other. On the last day we swapped our books for the summer holidays so that we could enjoy a new reading adventure! Please share any comments about your book on this blog. Happy reading and have a wonderful summer break! 😊
What a brilliant time we had! A big thank you to all who helped and all the parents who came along to cheer us on!
Have a go at the puzzle below. What is the highest number you can make? Remember to explain how you did it
This week at book club we explored different characters from some of our favourite books and stories and decided to paint them. We really enjoyed it and had lots of fun!
Today Year 2 visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park as part of their topic focus, ‘The Mighty Jungle’. We saw a range of different species and learnt many new facts throughout the day! Which animal did you find the most interesting and why? Can you share any of the facts you found out?
On Thursday, the whole school joined in for the first day of ‘Let’s Get Active’. It was an amazing day where the children got to take part in a variety of sporting activities and healthy living workshops! Walking around the school with my orienteering group I was able to see the huge smile on everyone’s faces, children as well as staff! What a fabulous day! A special thank you to Mr Hastey for organising such a fantastic event and opportunity for us all 🙂 Which activity did you take part in? What did you enjoy? Did you learn any new skills?
