Here’s just one of the many fun games our Y5/6 sports leaders put on during lunchtime to keep us all having fun, this one also uses numbers and helps us improve our maths skills at the same time!
On Wednesday we attended an athletics tournament at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield. We took part in a variety of events including the 60m sprint, 100m sprint, 200m sprint, standing long jump, javelin, relay and mixed relay across the afternoon. We did that well that we managed to come 2nd place out of 21 schools! Here are our Y5/6’s showing off their silver medals shortly after collecting them.
As well as some of the tournaments happening outside of school, we have had loads going off here at lunchtimes! Here are some snaps from some Y3/4 Intra house crosscountry tournaments.
Here’s our Sports Leaders taking part in some of the training they complete to keep our playground active. You will so our Sports Leaders working in groups setting games up for everybody to enjoy.
