The importance of Heads of Houses at HCPS:

At our school, the tradition of appointing Head of Houses holds significant importance in fostering a sense of belonging and leadership among our students. This year, we had an exciting event with the HCPS Elections, where each student participated in an ‘election style conference’ to choose their House representatives for the upcoming academic year. From watching campaign videos to asking challenging questions face to face, the students actively engaged in the democratic process.

The voting day on Thursday 18th July 2024, marked an empowering moment for our school community. The results were revealed the next day in a whole school assembly led by Aiden Tallant, our Head of School. Witnessing the Current and New Heads of Houses celebrate the transition of responsibilities showcased a spirit of camaraderie and support within our school’s House system. As we look ahead to the 24-25 academic year, we are excited to see our Head of Houses lead their respective Houses with passion and dedication.
