The school has a strong caring ethos shared by all its stakeholders and we listen carefully to what our pupils tell us and act on their views and recommendations. We feel strongly that “pupil voice” will enable us to understand our school better and make it a great place to learn. All children are involved in their learning and know how they learn best and what they need to do to improve and achieve further.
We deliver a curriculum that is designed to engage learners, develop independence and resilience and also encourage team work and co-operation, but also having a focus on fun and enjoyment, using creative and interesting ways to ensure pupils are thoroughly engaged in their learning.
We have high expectations of our learners and support all pupils to achieve their potential no matter where their starting points are or what their ability is. We expect all pupils to try hard and do their best.
This can all be achieved by working in partner-ship with parents and we encourage parents to play an active part in their child’s education. We appreciate all communication and feedback from parents and are always looking for ways to move the school forward.
