What a fantastic week we have had at HCPS! I couldn’t quite believe the quantity and quality of work on display throughout this afternoon. What a week!! It has been absolutely amazing to see all the children at HCPS participating in all the exciting activities from this years Arts Week. A massive thank you to all the parents and special visitors who made it to the showcase this afternoon, the children really loved having the opportunity to share their work with you all. What a fantastic arts week! It was amazing to see so many children expressing their creative sides through art, music, sculpture and dance. A big thank you to those involved in the delivery and organisation. We have had some brilliant comments from the artist involved on just how amazing HCPS children are and I would tend to agree! Also a big thank you to all the parents who came along
We have spent the week looking at and thinking about features of our local area. We have talked about what we like and created some amazing art work to show our local area off! I wonder is everyone’s local area the same?
What has been your favourite part of arts week and why?
It has been a great week of the arts and the class and I are looking forward to sharing what we’ve done with all who venture into school tomorrow. Just to wet your appetites here’s a little preview of what Y3/4H have been upto… Monday – Dance with Louise Wilkes, putting the moves to a Hoyland Hop. Followed by a 2014 calendar competition with the task of depicting Lowe Stand
