This week we have been learning about the expectations in Year One and have completed our mini-topic all about Rainbows. We have learned to sing a rainbow, paint a rainbow and cook a rainbow. Please have a chat about this week and share your highlights with us.

I haved loved my first week in Year One. I learnt how to say the colours of the rainbow in sign language! 🌈🤩
Ellie-Mae has loved learning learning the rainbow song and actions for it as well as painting one. She also enjoyed being in her new class and playing with her friends. Ellie says she is looking forward to learning new words and learning more maths.
Harrison really enjoyed learning about rainbows. He loves the song, he is trying to teach it to his younger brother and sister.

My Uncle Andrew has a Lego Saturn V rocket and it is nearly as big as me! The Saturn V took Neil Armstrong to the moon! 🚀

Wow what a week 🙂 Alexandra has loved it. She’s shown me some super writing at home this week following her first week back at school and has thoroughly enjoyed the rainbow project. She continues to sing the rainbow songs at home. Her favourite part was making a rainbow you were able to eat.
