Mr Hardy and Miss Davies were looking for evidence of collaboration in school today…

We saw lots of interesting things going on, children were working together, staff were working together and we spotted children collaborating with staff.  Our favourite photo taken this morning though was in Miss Redfearn’s class where children were working together to crack a code.  We were enticed into the classroom by the huddled groups gathered around white boards and calculators, children were working busily trying to solve the puzzle.  We would usually think of collaboration being noisy as people share their ideas with others but we realised that collaboration can also be quiet and competitive, children were whispering as they wanted to keep their findings within their group.  We will steal this idea to use in future!
