Lots of fun had this morning in FS, we decided on our snow day to experiment with ice. We wanted to find different methods of melting ice. From discussion children thought of ideas of how to melt ice cubes, warm water, salt, crushing and using our hands were suggested. We got into 4 teams and experimented melting the ice using these methods. Our findings from this experiment is that the warm water melted the ice cubes the quickest, using our hands was the second, using salt came third and crushing the ice came last!
