This week we have continued our learning Science with ‘rocks’.

We closely studied the rocks we had collected and made observations about what we could see. We incorporated our art skills and did detailed drawings ensuring we tried to include texture.

We have also started our assessments, kicking off with a Maths Reasoning paper. Next week we will complete the rest of our assessments, the last ones you will complete in class 9!

So this weekend get practising your times tables, spellings and ask your parents to ask you questions about what you are reading. Remember LIRA – Literal, Inference, Reader Response and Author intent.
