In today’s assembly we had to stand for the whole 20 minutes, squashed into tiny areas!
This was to make us think about how some animals are treated such as chickens in cages.
How did you feel after the assembly?
Should animals be made to work?
Should animals be used for Scienctific experimentation, for example rats?

Which animals should be allowed to run free?
A bit confused because if we make animals work I’ll feel bad because they shouldn’t be made to do work like donkeys and we saw a picture with a donkeys CARRYING HEAVY PARCSELS . But then we would’nt have tablets or Guide dogs or anything .
I don’t feel like animals shouldn’t work . e.g They shouldn’t be caring heavy things on there backs .

I think we should be treated the same because animals haven’t done anything wrong and it’s unfair, they shouldn’t have to suffer. Animals don’t have to work but people make them. In assembly I felt devastated that have to be treated that way. I feel bad for the animals and I want to stop them hurting the poor things we should be treated the same.

I think it is not fair if animals are in a cage’s because how would you like it if you where in a cage.
In a cage animals are not going to get the same amount of food we get and can’t grow properly.
