Today we have been measuring accurately using cm and half cm. We had to work from a plan of King Arthurs castle and measure each part carefully. We worked in pairs so we could help each other and check our measurements.

I enjoyed measuring the straws with Ryan. We had to make sure that we started at the 0 on the ruler so that our measurements were accurate.

Our castle looked real because we worked together so that our measurements were accurate. It was tricky to cut the straws to the right length so we worked in pairs so we could check it.

We had measure using cm and half cm. 6.5cm is 6 and a half cm. You had to make sure that the end of the straw was on zero and then check to make sure your measurement was accurate.
Well done Madison. You remembered that .5 means half. You measured really carefully and your castle looked really impressive.

I realy enjoyed it on monday because i worked with ruby when i made the castle i helped her get the right lenth and we had to start at zero on the ruler.

When me and Alex measured the straws to the right length and it was tricky but we really enjoyed it!
