FIFA-World-Cup-Brazil-2014-Groups-3

Our homework this fortnight is to research the country we drew out in the sweepstakes. It is completely up to you how you present what you have found out and if you bring it into school as you complete the task we will take some time to look at each child’s work.

Here are some ideas for how to present your ideas. If you think of anymore add them to the comments section as a suggestion.

  • A poster
    An information leaflet
A trivia quiz for the class to try about your country or perhaps true or false facts (what about paper which flips to give the answer?)
    An animation or video
    A news report
A comic strip about something important about your country – why not try the comic life app
A recipe for a national dish or maybe even having a go at making it.
    A PowerPoint style presentation
A model of a famous monument found in your country
Some top trumps cards on the players in your national team

Here are some websites that you may find useful when researching your country. Remember children can have access to computers and support with homework on Tuesday dinnertime.
