What changed your opinion about equality?
Equity and equality are two strategies we can use in an effort to produce fairness. Equity is giving everyone what they need to be successful. Equality is treating everyone the same. Equality aims to promote fairness, but it can only work if everyone starts from the same place and needs the same help.
At the beginning I thought Mr Rob was crazy but then I agreed with him.
“What on earth are you talking about” I thought but then I knew why he said that.
I totally agree. I thought he was insane as well but now I think equality is rubbish and equity is correct.

At first I thought Mr.Rob was going crazy but halfway through the lesson I relised equality isn’t fair.
At first we thought Mr Rob was going bonkers then he showed us the picture of equity and then our minds had a good think about it and we agreed with Mr Rob also he said equality is not always right.
I think equity is fairer than equality. It’s not fair because if you are rich you don’t need food but if you are poor you need food.
I think that the third picture should be them in the stadium watching!
I don’t think it’s fair because the little boy can’t see and the adult can see.
At first we thought Mr Rob was wrong but after that we agreed with Mr Rob. We also didn’t agree with the chocolate footballs.?⚽️

At the start of the lesson I thought Mr Rob went crazy and we all thought that equality was the better than equity but when Mr Rob explained it we changed our minds! At the end we all agreed with Mr Rob.
We realise that equity is better than equality ?
We thought at first Mr.Rob was being crazy but then he taught us that we may be wrong because equity is fairer than equilaty. Maybe you want but don’t need it.
If someone is about 3 or 4 you should let them look. If you are waching a football team and you can’t get in and the smallist is on one box you should give them one more.

At the start I thought Mr Rob wasn’t being himself but when I saw the photo I thought it was not equal because the little boy could not see. It made me think about equality a lot!
