Today, members of the school’s Arts team attended a celebration event at the Crucible Theatre to receive confirmation of the school achieving the Arts Mark. It was a full and varied day including workshops, demonstrations from Arts practitioners and a classical music finale to finish the day.
The school is now aiming to apply for Arts Mark Gold to further acknowledge its achievements in the Arts. This coupled with being selected as one of only twenty good practice centres in the UK definitely proves that Hoyland Common Primary Academy is leading The Arts in education locally.
