Don’t forget to get a good early nights sleep as tomorrow will once again see HCPS visit the international athletics venue EIS – Sheffield for the KS2 sports day. Over 200 children and nearly as many parents planning to make the journey to watch make it one of the school’s biggest events of the year.

This amazing indoor stadium guarantees the event will run come rain or shine. Children will be setting off on the coaches at 12:30 (after having dinners as normal) to arrive for 13:00, so parents please arrive around 13:00-13:15. Children will then have to return to school on the coaches, where they can be picked up from the rear classroom doors at approximately 16:15.

As this is an invaluable opportunity for children to take part in fun and competitive sporting events, earning points for their house teams can parents/guardians please ensure all children are sent to school with full PE kits. Shorts, their correct HOUSE COLOUR T-shirts and appropriate TRAINERS. (If your child doesn’t bring suitable clothing they will be unable to take part).
