Today we have been making axles so that when we make our toy vehicles we can make them move. We needed round wheels so they would roll and we used straws and pencils to make the strong axles. Then we tested them using a ramp. We had a competition to see whose would roll the furthest. Finlay and Arlows rolled furthest in our class, but Molly and Katie from Mr Clare’s class went the furthest out of all of them.
I loved making the axle’s. It was lots of fun. we all had different kinds.
What did you use to make your axle Izabelle?

Hi Mrs Harrison, we fastened our wheels on with blu tack and we will try with larger wheels next time

I know izzy next time we could use sum thing stronger for the axle and bigger wheel.s,

Hi mrs Harrison I realy enjoyed making the axles I used a pencil two wheels and a cotton reel
ther was a piece of dust in the way! and after school I was sad that my frend dint win but it was still fun!
well it was a sad day because he dint’ win.

Me and Millie used a cotton reel,a pencil, blu tack and some foam wheels, I think our wheels were too small but we had great fun making it.
