We have been designing and making outfits for our Super Heroes. We used what we have learned about the properties of materials to choose what we would use. If our Super Hero was stretchy we chose stretchy material, if they saved people from drowning we chose waterproof materials. What materials did you choose and why?

Hello Mrs Harrison I had lots of fun making our superhero costumes!!!
I used felt for my rocket boosters because felt is stretchy, unbreakable and good for saving people.
I used blue card for my boots because my superhero needs bendy and hard boots so that she can fly.
I used coloured tissue paper for my cape because capes need to be soft and straight so that she can breeze in the wind.
I used some spotty paper for the skirt so she looks beautiful.
I used shiny silver material for the belt and it lights up so that she can see in the dark.
