We have been learning to play cricket this morning. All Stars Cricket came into school and taught us the skills we would need. It was lots of fun!

We have been learning to play cricket this morning. All Stars Cricket came into school and taught us the skills we would need. It was lots of fun!
Cricket was fun because there are two teams and whoever wins gets a house point for their team. I like cricket best.
Parneet has looked at the pictures from year two cricket and mentioned playing at school today, she had lots of fun and got a wristband too.
I’m glad you enjoyed the cricket Parneet. We’ll have to ask Mr Hardy if he can organise some other sports sessions for you all to take part in.
I really loved the games and all of it was so much fun.I really enjoyed it.Please can we play it again soon.I think you guys enjoyed playing it?Because if you did you could sign up for the cricket next week, on Friday for 8 weeks however you will have to sign, up.What was your favourite bit everyone?Everybody did very well with the new games that we have never been playing before, and all of you tried there best. I’m going to go and sign up so I can learn how to play it.Are you going to sign up class? You need to remember all the words that Dean said.Dean was the coach and he was very good at blowing the, whistle that was around his neck.I could tell you were all overjoyed and excited.WELL DONE!

I really liked doing cricket and it was so much fun. I would like to say a big thank you to Dean for coming into school and teaching us. It was a great game.
It was really good and I liked it! But it was a little bit hard and I didn’t think it would be hard!
I have had so much fun with Dean can he come agen to teach us even more? And my score 119 at home

All Stars registration is now open on the website so all children and their parents can sign up via the website, Rockingham cc has their first sign up too from Hoyland common!
Thanks for the update Dean. Lots of them said they were interested so should be good.

Fantastic morning with the ks1 children I really enjoyed every minute of it, certainly some future stars in the making. Would be great to see them all learning more cricket skills doing all stars cricket at Rockingham cc in May.

My mummy (Jodie Gregory) says it was great to see you teaching me at my school as you have done lots at her school with her students at penistone! She said you’ve helped them win.
