This term our topic is The Battle of the Ages. Year 5 have been battling it out between classes this week on behalf of the Ancient Egyptians and Mayans. Class 11 were battling for the Ancient Egyptians and researching the question: ‘What happened after death?’

Their task was to create a poster, using all the key vocabulary to answer this question. Yesterday, we presented our posters to all of Year 5 and Mr Fallon. The results were fantastic and with only 15 minutes to practise their presentation, both classes did a brilliant job! There are still lots we need to discover about the Mayans and Ancient Egyptians, so there will be plenty more opportunity to improve on our presentation skills along the way.
