Here at Hoyland Common Primary School we now have our own Learning Council. These pupils are a group of year 3s who are interested in what great learning looks like. They have met to discuss learning and what it might be like in different year groups, and they have been learning detectives, taking photos around school and seeking out amazing learning. The Learning Council will be visiting classes during the next half term, talking to pupils and producing a report about the features of great learning at our school.
We are also hoping to team up with some pupils from Birdwell Primary School to look at learning there, as well as inviting some Birdwell pupils to come and look at learning here at Hoyland Common.
Watch out for more updates as the term progresses.
