This week in Maths we have been investigating multiples and coming up with rules to check if numbers are in the 2, 5, and 10 times tables. We worked together to spot patterns and test out our rules.
Can you remember how to tell if a number is in the 2 times table?
What about a number that is in the 10 times table?
What does a multiple of 5 end in?
We talked about common multiples, numbers that are in more than one times table.
Today we have been investigating the 9 times table. What were the rules we found out about multiples of 9? Can you test out some numbers to find out if they are a multiple of 9? Can you explain how you know?
