Today Debs from Eggucation came to see us, she brought a chicken called Sindypom.  Sindypom laid an egg!

Debs also brought an incubator and some eggs for us to look after.  The eggs will eventually hatch into chicks.  Debs is coming back to see us after the holidays to show us what is inside the eggs, she has a special machine that looked like a telescope that could see through the egg shell.

The incubator keeps the eggs warm and turns them over each day just like the mother hen would do.  We have to make sure there is some warm water in the pot inside the incubator so it stays steamy just like our showers at home.

Can you remember how the incubator looks after the eggs just like the mother hen would?
