We have been finding out all about life during WW2. We used the internet to research and found out that food was rationed, people had to ‘make do and mend’ and anyone who had any space outdoors spent their time ‘digging for victory’ and growing their own food.
We made lists to compare now and then, had a go at sewing on patches and buttons and designed posters to remind people not to waste anything!
