Today we have been ordering and comparing numbers. We also made our own signs to help us to do this. Then it was time to see if we could use > and < correctly. How have we done?

Today we have been combining our literacy and science by preparing a poem for performance. The poem is called ‘Five Little Senses’ and it helps us to remember important information about our senses. We are hoping to perform in assembly next week. What do we use our five senses for?

Today we examined our four plants, updated our plant diary and then made predictions for next week. I am afraid things don’t look good for three out of the four! What do you predict about next week’s investigation and our final results?

It was great to see such a number of children wanting to have a go at the opening scene from Macbeth. It’s amazing to see such enthusiasm from children aged only 7, 8 and 9! We are definitely going to have some talented actors for our future Shakespeare productions!

It was great to see the Y3 and Y4 children embracing the words of the bard. They created some great images for the opening scene upon the heath. Hopefully we will have time to green screen all the their fantastic work before the end of the school day.

It was amazing to think that in less than two hours we were transported to a heath in Scotland! This afternoon the younger children will get their chance to perform the opening of the Scottish play.
