After a few weeks planning, designing and making our shields are now ready to be painted. It will soon be time to decide which Roman legion motif we will use. Keep checking our blog to see the finished design.

Today we began to make our Roman shields. We discussed how best to design them so they would look authentic like the one above. It will take some time but then again Rome wasn’t built in a day!

In numeracy we have designed our own jigsaw. We have used mathematical questions to fit each piece together correctly. We will be letting other classes use them to round up and down to the nearest 10 and 100 with 3 and 4 digit numbers.

Only one week to go until HCPS perform their sixth annual Shakespeare production. We are all excited and rehearsals are going really well. Don’t forget tickets are in short supply so buy them before the weekend!
