We had a fantastic day at the Yorkshie Wildlife Park. We saw a wide variety of animals including: zebras, lions, giraffes, monkeys, leopards, camels and flamingoes.                      

Today we took part in the HCPS Lego challenge. In class 4 we looked at the work of modern artist Mondrian. We used Lego bricks to print  and make patterns in a similar style.                                 

This week we are basing our literacy work around ‘The tiger who came to tea’ by Judith Kerr. Today we designed and wrote our own invitations, writing dates correctly and using persuasive language. We did a fantastic job.   “

We looked at some Aboriginal art for inspiration and then had a go at creating our own. We have tested our our ideas ready to make our own masterpieces  tomorrow.

Meet the class 4 moon buggy design team. Last week we investigated wheeled toys and designed our own moon buggies. This week we have followed our plans and used hacksaws, glue guns, tape and lots of foil to make our moon vehicles.
