Perfect weather conditions forecast for day 2. Group 1 are on their way to Dunforde Bridge.

36km all in. A great effort from all our pypuls today. Just waiting for a lift back to school.

Group 1 and 2 are together and after the hill from Oxspring they’ve earnt some lunch.

Group 1 have flown along the Trans Penine Trail to Oxspring. We even added in a detour to the Thurgoland tunnel.

On our way to Dunforde Bridge – 20 miles of riding ahead of us. Looks like we’ll be getting wet. But it won’t stop us this time! Photos to follow when we are out of the valleys beyond Penistone. (Limited internet)

Another excellent KS2 Sports Day was held at Dorothy Hyman Stadium on Tuesday.  There was a brilliant atmosphere and huge efforts from all pupils. What did you enjoy?

Our first week involved exploring the apparatus stations and covering safe entry, movement and exit of the equipment. Week 2 focussed on controlled holds as we traversed the apparatus. How did you find it? Did anyone impress you?
