This afternoon we have used our art skills to create a landscape from The Hobbit. We have tried to recreate the view of Laketown when Smaug emerges from the mountain.
First we sketched out our outlines for our work.
Then we used a sponging technique with paint to create a fiery sky and the lake below.

Then we started to use our collaging skills to create the mountain.

I really liked it. I like using sponges for painting.
This job was really cool I loved it we’ll I liked how we used the bronze and silver card or paper hope we have more things like this. I like the painting part because you get messy!!!
