This year we are calling on the HCPS community to promote the anti-bullying message. As a school we say NO to the bullying of ALL children and young people – including disabled children and those with special educational needs – children who are significantly more likely to experience bullying in schools and the wider community.

I have really enjoyed looking at the black book of colours today with Mr Fallon It’s about a boy called Thomas and he’s blind and because he can not see the colours uses his sences to describe them his first line was yellow tastes like mustard but is also soft and fluffy like a ducklings fur.
Today from anti bullying week I learnt that people who are blind see colours as different things ,
we read this book and it was about a boy and how he saw colours , yellow to him was like mustard and red was like when he grazed his knee or a strawberry.
Today we have been doing sentences for blind people so they can imagine different colours. First we read a book called The Black Book Of Colours and then we created our own sentences and my two favourite ones that I created is…Red smells like rotting blood and sweet sugary cherries. My second favourite is…Red feels like bumpy poppy’s and a hot blistering fire. I have learnt that bullies bully because they may be jealous of the person they are bulling or sometimes the bullies bully for no reason at all. :] :]
Today has really explained to me why disabled people are usually the targets of bullys because one person is stronger than the other and there is an imbalance of power over the victim. Like when people who have autism are being verbally bullied and if the bully is using sarcasm they might not understand it. People who are bullys can use different ways to over power their target using psychological methods , verbal or physical abuse. Psychological bulling is were somebody is almost warning somebody in advance that something is going to happen to someone I’m going to beat you up is an example because the person is being warned that it is going to happen to them later making them worried about what’s going to happen in future. Bullying can happen for different reasons like someone is bad at something or good at something.

From only one day I have Learnt a lot about bullying and how it can happen and why.
The one main thing that sticks out to me is that people bully people with disabilities like autism just because they’re a bit different even though being different is what makes you you. Sometimes people bully others but don’t even know or some people just think it’s a laugh but you don’t think so. The thing a learnt today all together is that you should be proud of who you are no matter what anybody says.
yesterday we read a book called One it really intresting because it was about some characters called Blue, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Green, Red and One and Red thought he was better than everyone until One showed up and One refused to do what Red said and then all the other colours turned into numbers apart from Blue and Red then Red went up to Blue and said, “Red’s hot Blue’s not!” but then Blue stood up to Red and said, “Red can be really hot but Blue can be super cool” and then blue turned into number Six but then said, “Red can count too” and Red turned into Seven. thats why I really liked that book and I’m sure you would like it too.
That video was a bit sad but also I loved all the swapping around today in class working with differant teachers
I really enjoyed reading the black book of colours because now we know how the unfortunate people think about colours and if they are blind like Thomas, the one who wrote the book, they think about colours with all there sense like smell and taste. E.G Yellow tastes like mustard.
we really need stop bullying for good there is allsorts of bullying out there like cyber physical anti and more lets hope we can stop it

This week was a good week because we did art we also write a story framed around the book one. we did a panting and It had glitter so it got messy .
I really enjoyed this week because learning about bullying helped me to sort other peoples problems. If I get bullied I’ll tell a teacher because it’s the right thing to do.
I loved doing about the One story by Katherine Otoshi we made up a story based on this. I also liked doing the self portraits that was amazing!

Today is Friday this is good because I like wearing blue we are wearing this because it is the colour of the anti bullying motto. This week has told us the different kinds of bullying and how to stop it. We have been making are own story we have also been making self portraits of us. We read a interesting book they were called one, and the black book of colours my favourite description was that yellow tastes like mustard.
This week it has been Anti-bullying week I have learnt that people self harm themselves. There is three different kinds bullying and they are called verbal bullying, cyber bullying and physical bullying SO DON’T BULLY!!!

This week was fun because we had a arts day for bulling . I enjoyed reading the book blue and book of coulers.
This week I really enjoyed because on Wednesday we did a self portrait and I think I did well James did a really good self portrait. we looked at a book called one by Kathrin Otoshi and it was really interesting
This week I enjoyed doing the self portrait because we got to use different techniques to draw our own faces and were the dark bits of our face are we had to shade them in darker. on Monday we did our own colour story based on the book one by Katharine otishi
Today is the day that anti bulling weak is ending for people telling you what bulling is these are the three bulling verbal bulling physical bulling cyber bulling where wearing blue today because its the colour for anti bulling week.
looking at black book of colours was really enjoy full but a bit touching at the same time because we got a chance to know what its like to be blind.
My favraite part of anti bullying week was drawing our favraite pair of shoes with mr Clair.
bulling is not nice beacouase can hirt you fielings and pepole can be really upset beacouse you are calling pepole names
bulling is realing nasty and bull8ing is a reallt nasty fing to do

2 I enjoyed learning about disibilities because I feel sorry for the people who suffer with it and I learnt a lot about disibilities that I didn’t know about or what they mean
