I know members of the school’s athletics club will be taking part in the Wombwell 1 mile fun run this Sunday so good luck to all those who are taking part. I’ll see you there to cheer you on. Entries are taken on the day so if anyone else feels like giving it a go check out the details below.

A big well done to Jonathan and Chloe who took part in the Wombwell 1 mile fun run today. Both were up against children up to 5 years older than them. Despite the challenge of running against this older competition they managed to come in 3rd and 5th with times of 6mins 36secs and 6mins 46secs. They worked very well together to chase down some of those older runners who ran away at the start. By the finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th were split by only 10 seconds.
