Debs from Eggucation came today. She brought two of her chickens, some eggs and an incubator. Debs told us all about which animals lay eggs and which don’t. She brought two of her chickens, Cindy Pom Pom and Repecker. We are in charge of looking after the eggs and checking the water levels in the incubator.
Can you remember what the incubator does? How do wild birds look after their eggs?
Have a look at Debs website to find out more:

Lucy
The incubator keeps the eggs warm. Wild birds look after their eggs by making a nest with twigs and feathers. They lay their eggs in the nest and sit on them to keep them warm. If they don’t stay warm they might not hatch.

Well remembered Lucy – I think you need an Eggspert badge printing off!
