Today we have been debating the pros and cons of a theme park in Oakton. We had a special visitor from the RC construction company who came to listen to our point of view.
Were you for or against the theme park? Why? What points did you use to support your argument?
I was against the theme park because of the noise, pollution and the differences that it could make. It might seem pretty small to you, but the countryside is a lot more important than a theme park, animals live there, but the main point is the effect of the pollution. The pollution from the rides, factories and vehicles could make the climate hotter, disabling the next ice age. But it’s your choice what you do to the environment, so choose wisely.
i was for because it would bring more fun and excitement to oakton and then we can have fun memories

I was against because I work in Newbery so when the theme park is built there will be extra traffic and they are going to cut down the old oak tree that gave the village its name so if it does get cut down were will the village get its name from?
