Here’s an update from the presentation ceremony.
Our performance of Romeo and Juliet won two awards for ‘Best Stage Presentation’ and the ‘Youth Achievement Award’ – well done to everyone involved!
We were also nominated in several other categories:
‘Best Dramatic Moment’ – for the opening and closing motif
‘Best Supporting Actor’ – Ozzy Martin for his portrayal of the Prince
‘Mel Dyke Award’ – Mr Rob
‘Best Actress’ – Amber Haywood for her sensitive portrayal of Juliet
‘Best Actor’ – Ethan Jones for his portrayal of Romeo
‘Best Director’ – Mr Rob
The awards for best overall performance were presented to Darton College (runner up) and CAPA (winner).
