This week in literacy we have been discussing figurative language – can you explain to everyone what this means?
Have a look at the picture below and try and come up with your own examples of figurative language for the picture. Can you tell us all what type of figurative language you have used?
At the time of night there was a house as old as possible and it had loses of living leeves around the outside of the horrible house.It is a giant smurf village house waiting for someone to arrive for a meal because it was getting hungry. .I have used a metefore and a simily adjectives and Adverbials at the start.
Figurative language is meteorfors personification and similes.
The image is magical and enchanting.
The roof is like a toad stool. The house looks like it is made from an oak tree. It looks a bit old and creepy.
