Y5/6 have had an exciting day today!
We were set a challenge to make the tallest structure possible using only newspaper and Sellotape. Staff in school have donated money to Children in Need because we managed to reach a collective height of 50 metres!!

I had a great time doing the tallest structure and my team was good too. For about 30 mins ours was the tallest but when it was time to see who’s was the biggest it all fell down, so we called it the leaning tower of paper.

when we had to do that challenge it was really frustrating but at the end we finally did and we called it the leaning tower of y5/6 !
I loved doing the tallest structure because my groups was balanced and then when we got into the hall it wouldn’t stand up.
It was so complicated because our group had done awesome UNTIL we pushed it because some one put one more newspaper on and it fell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same as matthew we shouted to our group to not put any more newspapers on but did they listen NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
