Wow!

We finally come to the end of another fantastic week of learning at Hoyland Common Primary. The week began with a bang as our Y3/4 pupils visited Cadburys World in Birmingham. I was thrilled to hear that, once again, our pupils were given a special mention by the staff for their excellent behaviour and standards when respreseting Hoyland Common out of school. I would also like to give an extra special thanks to all the pupils, staff and parents who were caught up in the delayed second bus. Thanks to all for your patience.

I have also been hugely impressed with how pupils have approached the recent @arts week. For three days, children worked in house teams to design and create banners, songs and artwork to reflect their own house. These have been shared in celebration assembly today and will be on display in the school hall soon.

Congratulations to all pupils who have received house points this week. Please check this blog and twitter to see some of those fantastic pieces of work which have earned house points. Currently, Fitzwilliam lead the House Cup challenge on 288 house points – an amazing effort!

Finally, I would like to say a huge congratulations to this week’s class stars. They have been selected for super attitudes, excellent effort in maths, outstanding behaviour and setting good examples for others. All traits that make Hoyland Common such a fantastic school. Well done to all for your efforts.
