Today we have been adding amounts of money to find totals. We were adding amounts over £2. We had to convert the amount from pounds into pence, then partition the numbers into 100s, 10s and units. Next we added the hundreds together, then the tens and finally the units. Then we recombined the numbers to find out how many pence. Finally we converted the answer from pence to punks and pence!
