All of year 5 and 6 are heading to the Imperial War Museum in Manchester today. With the aim of benefitting their learning experiences around the topic ‘Lest We Forget’, in which the children have already begun delving into the historical importance of WW1 and it’s remembrance. The museum visit will provide an excellent opportunity to see how this fits into modern and past conflicts and the impact on our lives.

It’s an early start with children required in school at 8:20 for an 8:30 departure. We should hopefully (traffic permitting) be back at school around 4:30. Children can be picked up from the main hall fire exit, outside reception.

As soon as you get back Y5/6 – let us know what you learned and enjoyed at the museum.
