What a fun day we had at Bolsover Castle today!
What was your favourite part of the castle? Make sure you draw and write about it in your mission book this week!
We went up a lot of steps – Riley
We went to the top of the castle – Seth
We saw the flag – Sadie
We went through a big gate – Maisey
We saw where the horses trained – Lacey
We went in the hall – Max
We saw the fireplace – Frankie
We sat on a wooden horse – Emily
We found where the people used to put the candles to light up the staircases – Archie
We saw the turrets – Mitchell
We saw the ramparts on the castle – Harry M
We saw the windows – Owen
There was a place where you could dress up in old clothes – Seth
We went through some gares – Eddie
We saw the roof – it was missing some bits – Lucie
We saw the flag – Jack
We saw the fireplaces – Luke
The castle was falling down – Harry G
It had broken windows – Dexter
There were lots of windows – Sophie
There was a room called the star chamber – Jensen
The floors were made out of concrete – Jesse
I was poorly and missed out on the trip 🙁 but it looks fantastic – Corey

I enjoyed the entire day but though the fireplace was decorated nicely
Sophie said she loved the trip and loves looking back at the pictures . Especially of her looking up the fireplace !
