Welcome to Hoyland Common Primary School Council Blog! Our School Council is made up of 22 children, two members from each class, across KS1 and KS2. Following nominations, elections are held in each class to find representatives and regular meetings are held. The School Council are involved in a range of activities throughout the year, so keep checking our page to find out what we are up to.

The School Council have met with Lorna from Engie, our school meal provider, to discuss pupil feedback on our school lunches. Lorna kindly listened to our suggestions on how we thought the service could be improved. We also shared what lunches we liked on the current menu. We even got to try some of the mince beef pie, which we all agreed was delicious! Thank you to Lorna  for taking the time to visit with us.
