Our anti-bullying week has been rounded off with a visit from Buddy the ‘anti-bullying’ Panda. The whole class has participated positively in a variety of tasks this week aimed at promoting the use of ‘Power for Good’. Buddy seemed impressed with our ‘What is bullying?’ and advice posters.

We have been comparing old and modern trains. We drew lots of different trains, we used different grades of pencil to shade our sketches. Can you remember some of the differences between old and modern trains?  What technical words did we use to describe the trains?

What a busy morning in KS1. We all enjoyed playing lots of maths games and completing the challenges. What was your favourite game or challenge?

Today we have had a visit from the minister of chocolate and we are now qualified chocolatologists! We have learned about the history of chocolate, how it’s made, fair trade and we have even designed, made and named our own chocolate bars.
