During week 2 of our new school year, the CSI topic has really been moving forward… Not only did the year 5 and 6 get the chance to play the part of professional crime scene investigators they also looked the part. After receiving the go ahead to begin our own investigation in to the murder that has occurred on the decking, class 10, 11 and 12 have been finding out how to conduct themselves as they gather all the evidence from the scene. They then had the opportunity to put this in to action. Check out these amazing photos!
Next week we will be putting together a list of potential suspects so that as we analyse our collected evidence we can narrow them down.
How did you need to conduct yourself as you collected the evidence?
Have you got any suspicions about what occurred?
Another great week in class 10. Some fantastic work in literacy where we’ve just begun our project on narrative-suspense writing and in numeracy where we’ve been building on our addition/subtraction skills as well as solving and creating our own multi-step problems, next week we’ll be advancing our multiplication skills.
Also, a big well done to all of you in the intra school cross country, and a thank you to Jonathan and Chloe for representing the school (and our class) during the inter school tournament, your efforts made us all proud.
The class ‘Star of the Week’ was Freya for her amazing start to the year, with impeccable conduct throughout school and 100% effort put in to every piece of work so far.
