We have been putting our learning to good use by designing and making a cloak for Little Red Riding Hood. We decided what a cloak would need to be, we came up with soft, waterproof, warm, flexible and able to protect her from the prickles on the trees and bushes in the forest. Then we used our learning about the properties of materials and our DT skills to design and make our cloaks. What properties did the materials you chose have? Why were they important for Little Red Riding Hoods cloak?
