Extreme intolerance on our doorstep!

This week we have looked at the life of Jo Cox, MP for Batley in West Yorkshire. A woman described as ‘a credit to herself, her community, and her country in the work she performed for Oxfam and other organisations, devoting herself to seeking to better the lot of those less fortunate than her.’
Due to her personal beliefs and values she lost her life striving to do good for others.

What have you learned from this terrible crime and how does this make you feel?

To remember Jo Cox, thousand of street parties, picnics and baking competitions will be held on 17th and 18th June, a year after she was murdered. The man who did this terrible crime deserves to die in jail after what he did to an innocent lady.

I hope everybody appreciates what she did.
Why would someone want to do something as horrible as kill her when she was putting everybody else before herself.

Today I learnt about extreme intolerance. Jo Cox was murdered in the day light were everybody one in the streets could see. A man thought she should put Britain first but actually she put everybody first witch means she did put Britain first. The person who murdered Jo Cox is the only person we hate.

She didn’t care that they were black or white or Christian or Muslim or any other differences. What she did was right and he just carelessly killed her. It was just most intolerant thing that I could have thought of.
