Starting tomorrow, on the 7th December, there will now be a Junior Parkrun held at Locke Park every Sunday. This is a free 2km fun run for children aged 4-14. All you need do is register at- http://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/ then print of a barcode and turn up at the cafe in Locke Park in time for a 9am start.
A good sized group of the school’s athletics club are going to be there and would be happy to see any of their fellow pupils join them. All are welcome and parents/carers are allowed to run too.

Wow! HCPS had an amazing turn out for the first Locke Park junior parkrun. 16 current pupils from a variety of year groups, 13 of these from the school’s athletics club then 3 others who turned up with siblings to have a go. It was also great to see 2 ex-pupils along for a run. AND not to forget the parents who put on their trainers and joined the children for two laps round the park.
