Our budding golfers were treated to a fantastic morning of putting, chipping and driving at Sandhill Golf Range today. We would like to say a huge thank you to PGA professional Peter Marsh and junior organiser Andrew Herbert – what a great morning guys!

I really enjoyed the trip to the golfing range, it was my favourite trip so far in school. Thank you Andy and Peter for teaching us today and hopefully I could come to the lessons!
Glad everyone enjoyed it. Andy and myself thoroughly enjoyed it too. Your talents were there for all to see but your citizenship, manners and listening skills were terrific. I hope you all find time for golf, it’s rewards last you a lifetime.

The children really enjoyed the experience and so did Mr Fallon , Mr Hackney and Myself.
I hope the children take up the great game of golf by joining the junior section at Sandhill, certainly the coaching session would have whetted their appetite.
By the way, I think the last drive that Peter hit is still travelling in the direction of London.
Can I also give a big thank-you to Mrs Paddock who gave up her time to arrange the session.
