Today we received a message from David. He asked us for our help. He needed us to carry out some research for him to help him decide which country to visit next. We’ve been very busy all morning finding out about different places and making notes. Which country did you research? What facts can you remember about it? David asked us to find places to visit on different continents, can you remember what a continent is?
I looked at Australia. The capital is Canberra. They have Koala Bears and Kangaroos.
Wow Finlay. You even remembered the capital city of Australia! I’ve never seen a real life kangaroo, I will have to think really carefully about where I visit next. Could you find out what the weather is like in Australia in October please and let me know?
Thank you
David
In October in Australia the weather is really good. It is 22 degrees warm, there is 8 hours sunshine every day and a little bit of rain.
Finlay
Thanks Finlay. That information will help me decide where to go. I wonder what I might need to take with me if I decided to visit Australia?
I have been looking at America. it is a really big country so you could visit lots of places. The weather is different in different areas of america you could start in florida which is usually warm. They drink lots of coffee and eat pancakes for breakfast.
America sounds amazing Erin. Florida sounds interesting and I love pancakes!
Iv been looking at china and they have got a great wall that is 6`000 kilometres long and can be seen from space.
The work that you have been doing looks very interesting and exiting. I would like to find out more about the work that you have been doing with David.I ‘m interested to find out more.

i looked at sowth america. they speak inglish and they eat beef burgers. sometimes it is hot and when it is winter it snows.
David
Jacob, I’m so impressed with your research so far. It would be good to visit a country that speaks English, it’s been hard work trying to learn Egyptian. I like beef burgers too so I might think about visiting South America next.
Thank you for your help
David
