Hans has asked for our help again can you think of ways we can help him? What are materials? What does insulate mean? How could we test materials to see which would keep Hans the warmest?

We mint be able to wrap it up in some fur or fluffy stuff we will need to wrap all of the material all around the coat we could send a coat in the suitcase.I really enjoyed today with the material are we going to be doing it tomorrow see you tomorrow goodbye and anyway I really love hoyland common primary school bye.
We could send some woolly stuff because sheep have woolly coats to keep them warm.
We could send him a blanket or a sleeping bag.
We could test the materials by getting wrapped up in them or we could wrap them round something warm like a hot water bottle and see which one keeps it hottest. We could keep checking the temperature with a thermometer.

A material is what something is made out of. Insulate means to keep the heat in (or out!).We could wrap something up in material and work out how warm it is with a thermometer

Great ideas Amelia. What do you suggest we wrap up?
