This week children have returned to school and we have literally hit the ground running!
Let’s Gets Active in School has been a huge success and children have really embraced the concept, trialling new sports and getting involved 100% in all their chosen activities. A huge “Thank you” to Mr Hastey for organising this and also to all the staff that individually ensured that there was an array of sports to choose from!
I would also like to say “Thank You” to Tesco’s who donated a huge trolley full of fruit for the workshops that saw the children trying different fruit options.
Today, I am hopeful the weather will turn for the better and the children can enjoy a well-stocked picnic outside to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday in style. The children have spent the morning finding out facts and information about the Queen and as I was walking down the corridor earlier I heard a resounding chorus of the national anthem from Miss Griffins class!
Attendance this week hasn’t been as high as usual, so please endeavour to ensure that children do attend wherever possible. And as ever if you do have any issues you need to raise with me or a member of the team, or even any praise and compliment, please do not hesitate to contact me,
